7th Annual session of GESA was organized in the form of an international conference on “Environment and Society (ICES 2025)” with the basic theme as Change: Mitigation and Environmental Ethics for Human Well-being on 6th & 7th December, 2025 (hybrid mode). This 7th ICES was organized and hosted by Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language (KMCL) University, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh State Govt. University) in association with Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), Kolkata (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India), National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property (NRLC), Lucknow (Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India), Uttar Pradesh State Biodiversity Board, Lucknow (Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh), The American University, USA, ECRD Research and Education Council, Hisar (Haryana) and Glocal Environment & Social Association (GESA).
Mr. Daya Shankar Singh Hon’ble Transport Minister, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh was the Chief Guest; Dr. A.K. Verma Hon'ble Member Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Prayagraj was the Special Guest; Prof. Madhu Krishan, Hon’ble Rector, The American University, USA and Prof. Viney P. Aneja, North Carolina State University, USA were the Guests of Honour. Prof. Ajay Taneja, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KMCLU graced the 7th ICES as its Chief Patron while Dr. MD Gupta, President GESA presided over the inaugural ceremony. Dr. Nalini Misra, Dr. Raj Kumar Singh, Dr. Sadguru Prakash, Prof. Sunita Arya, Dr. Vinod K. Chaudhary, Dr. Ranjit Singh, Dr. Amit Pal and Dr. Prabhakar Singh well organized the ceremony.
